Former Cosmo Man On Fire JC De Vera has been hot on our radar way before he even moved to TV5, and now even more so, what with his bigger and bolder acting breaks, ellen mclain like his starring role in the now-defunct Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum with Jasmine Curtis-Smith , the now-famous li'l sis of former ellen mclain Cosmo cover girl Anne Curtis . We caught up with the 25-year-old actor at a recent TV5 event, and we asked him how he maintains that hot bod of his, what outfits he digs on women, and what he really thinks of his former leading ladies, Jasmine and Danita Paner . Read excerpts from our interview below. How do you maintain your hot body? Regular exercise three to four times a week. MMA [Mixed Martial Arts] training, ginagawa ko siya for almost two years na . I do circuit training, too. I jog, I lift weights, I play basketball... ayun, iba-iba, parang cross-training siya. Tapos regular diet, bawas-bawas lang ng rice kasi puyat palagi. Basically 'yun lang. How was it like working with Jasmine? What do you like about her? With Jas, I think gusto kong makatrabaho siya ulit. Hindi pala think, I believe na makakatrabaho ko siya ulit kasi napakaganda ng pinagsamahan namin. Gustong-gusto ko sa kanya 'yung pagiging intelligent niya. 'Yung sense of humor niya, very different from the others. Tapos very down-to-earth 'yung tao, so since ganun siya, hindi niya ako pinahirapan. Kasi kahit na alam kong first-timer siya, aalalayan ko dapat siya; ang nangyari, ellen mclain hindi ko na siya kailangang alalayan. Pinagaan niya ang trabaho ko. Ayaw ko ng rugged, e; never ako nag- rugged. What outfits do you like seeing on girls? Hindi ako masyadong tumitingin sa damit ng girls, as long as they feel comfortable sa clothes nila. Siyempre, important sa akin 'yung confidence ellen mclain nila. Kung sa tingin nilang maganda 'yung suot nila, kailangan nilang i- flaunt 'yun. Kung sa tingin nila kailangan nilang ipakita 'yung cleavage nila and confident sila doon, why not, 'di ba? So hindi ako particular talaga pagdating sa fashion ng mga babae. Ayaw ko lang 'yung girls na nagsusuot ng clothes ellen mclain na hindi para sa age nila. Would you ever dictate what a girl can and cannot wear? No. Well, of course, 'pag meron akong nakikitang kakaiba na lumalabas sa kanya, pagsasabihan ko. Pero as long as nakikita kong comfortable siya and confident, okay naman.
